Understanding The Trinity Go to top

This book is available from Seventh-day Adventist book shops. It has been described as the best defence of the Trinity doctrine during the last fifty years. It provides the grounds for acceptance of the doctrine and answers numerous objections to it by people who don't really understand what they are objecting to. The book has been widely sold throughout the world and has been favourably received by other religious groups as a valuable resource and explanation of the Trinity doctrine. Members of groups such as the Jehovah's Witnesses and Christadelphians are badly in need of help on this doctrine but few, unfortunately, are equipped to offer it to them. Max Hatton is a writer who writes at a level that is easy to understand. Equipped with a Bible and this book as a guide you too will be compelled to accept what the Bible teaches on the Trinity doctrine.

The Trinity Doctrine for Seventh-day Adventists Go to top

The Seventh-day Adventist Church accepts its doctrine from the Bible and the Bible only. However, some Adventists mistakenly build their doctrinal platform more on the writings of Ellen G. White than on the Bible. This is a grievous mistake. Max Hatton has relented by using her writings to try and help these misguided Adventists. He shows clearly that Ellen White in her mature years was a committed Trinitarian.

The book is included in full on this website. It is not copyright and may be copied but should not be altered. Christian ethics would of course prevent any distortions of the book.

Those who are interested in what Ellen White says will appreciate being able to consider what she offers, while those who are not interested in what she says can easily ignore her comments and still gain an enormous benefit from a study of this book.

Unfortunately, there is much material circularised by dissidents which completely distorts the situation which relates to Ellen White and which is completely out of touch with up to date conservative Christian scholarship. Seventh-day Adventists should show wisdom and take the opportunity to really undersgtand what both the Bible and Ellen G. White truly say.
